In-App Purchases is ugly

May 27th, 2012

I think In-App Purchases is ugly, and it will hurt the Apple’s App Store, especially for games. For many games in the App Store, playing is like hard working, to earn “virtual money” in the simple game, twitter or facebook it or review it or email back for “virtual money”. At the begin, players buy the game for enjoy the playing not for helping developer to earn more money, of course players would like to pay more for a really good game. If developer continue doing this, it will slow down the growing of iOS game market. The In-App Purchases must be limited and developers of iOS must improve the quality of the games, so there will be an opportunity to overtaken Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo.
